1-Live On

On a fateful morning in 2023, a family was reminded of what is important in life. Of course, many aspects of living are paramount, as expressed by the great philosophers like Plato, Aristotle, Jesus and Siddhartha Gautama (the Buddha). Regardless of how one lives, living is just the antecedent to the more important binary of our existence - dying.

Death is often times though of as the end of life, or simply the end. However, enlightened philosophers such as Jesus the Anointed and Buddha talked of death like the did of life. It is a process, with a new beginning. In some spiritual circles, there are discussions of a transcendent existence in an afterlife. Others talk of incarnations of multiple lives of a singular spiritual being. Though the deceased exist in a new existence outside of our physical reach, we honor them in the spiritual realm. In our thoughts and prayers. In our memories. In a simple reference to their name.

We honor the beautiful, spiritual man who was Matthew Anthony Moreno - the athlete, the student, the entrepreneur. He was also the son, the brother, the nephew and the friend.

Now, he is the Matthew Anthony Moreno Memorial Foundation.
